Can DoseMe integrate with my EHR system or Patient Management System?

Expand

So long as it’s standards-compliant, absolutely! DoseMe is designed to integrate with your clinical practice seamlessly. The DoseMe platform provides a well-documented API for your systems to communicate with, and supports FHIR, HL7 (and other interchange languages) for ease of interoperability.

DoseMe is currently being integrated into Charm Health for their May 2017 release. For more information, read the PulseIT news article.

Importantly, however, DoseMe does not require integration. You can start using DoseMe straight-away to gain the patient-outcome and cost-saving benefits, and over time integrate to reduce data-entry. Getting started with DoseMe does not require an IT project, installation of any software (except via the App Store on iPads & iPhones) or even internal IT support.

How many patients should I have to use DoseMe?

Expand

DoseMe can be scaled to suit your needs, from less than 10 to 100,000+ patients across a large healthcare network.

DoseMe can provide a stable, highly available platform to serve your needs both now, and as your needs grow.

Is my patient and hospital data secure?

Expand

DoseMe employs a rigorous data security policy to ensure that no inadvertent disclosure of patient information occurs.

What about Pharmacogenomics? Isn't it the next big thing?

Expand

Where this information can be very useful is for the first dose of some medications. For example, DoseMe supports the genetic data in the warfarin model as optional parameters. This can change your starting dose from 1mg daily to 7mg – a significant difference based on your genes!

Do you have more information available about DoseMe (Brochures, Press Kits)?

Expand

We have brochures, press and scientific information kits available upon request.

Please contact us for a copy.

Custom drug support

Can you add a drug that's not in DoseMe?

Expand

We sure can – please contact us for more information.

Depending on the drug, it may already be in our pipeline, or may need to be completed as a custom project.

View our existing drug packages.

Can I add a custom drug model to DoseMe?

Expand

Due to regulatory requirements, users are not allowed to add or edit drug models.

DoseMe, however, is happy to take requests to prioritise adding particular drugs.

For more information on this, please contact us.

Can you customise a drug model for my specific patient population?

Expand

We sure can, however, the benefits may not meet your expectations. In many cases (depending on how you’re using DoseMe), the dose-individualisation is likely already accounting for the variance between your target population and the population in which the drug model was developed.

An exception to this would be for calculating initial doses. If you’re using DoseMe regularly to estimate the first dose to be given to a patient, you may gain benefits by customising a drug model. DoseMe can assist with determining whether your patients would achieve significant benefits by customising a drug model.

Can you do other customisation for me with DoseMe?

Expand

Absolutely – it will just depend on your requirements. Please contact us.
